Original Music
I compose theme songs, jingles, musicals, and anything else you may need! If you don’t know where to start but have a mashup of words, vibes, or sounds that you want your music to evoke, that’s where I love to begin.
I enjoy the collaborative process and challenge of delivering an original piece that feels uniquely suited to each project.
The Great Debate | A Comedy Gameshow (Tin Can Bros)
THEME: I was tasked with creating a theme that felt like a high-energy, rock-inspired ‘political debate meets breaking news’ song.
VOTING: The brief was ‘something like the Jeopardy ‘Think!’ song' that can be looped and used as background audience-voting music.’
World’s Worst Musical | Webseries
A guy struggling to write the next great musical starts to see every moment in his life transformed into singing, dancing, genre-bending musical numbers.
I composed/produced the music and co-wrote the lyrics.
An 80’s power-ballad inspired song where a driving lesson is transformed into a high octane number complete with dancing traffic cones.
A ‘Music Man’ inspired golden age number where a traveling charlatan convinces fellow train passengers that ‘the landing was a lie!’
Second Best: A DND Adventure | Narrative Podcast Original Score
Inspired by video game soundtracks, folk music, and tons of playful genre pastiche, this is maybe my favorite project of all time. Second Best was a real-play DND podcast by comedians (before it was cool!)
I scored all 64 episodes and it is impossible to choose just a few tracks to represent it, so check out the Soundcloud too! Please hire me to score your narrative podcast.
THEME: I created a fantasy theme song that was meant to feel timeless and evoke adventure, mystery, and whimsy.
WATER LEVEL: This was my silly take on what happens if ‘Drunken Sailor’ met the Donkey Kong ‘Water Level’ music met the podcast theme song.
THE CALL OF THE HEART: A sincere and driving underscore to an emotional meeting of two characters (and subsequently, their musical motifs converging).
Podcast/Brand Themes | Various
Cinestalgia: Film retrospective podcast. Clients wanted a 20 second theme that “evokes the wonder of a kid at the movies, sort of grand but whimsical.”
The Struggle Bus: Advice podcast. Clients asked for a theme that was upbeat, inviting, and personable. (I composed and sang on this track!)
The Daily Ampersand: Lifestyle vlog. Client wanted an intro/outro tune that was upbeat, friendly, and catchy.
Making Number 2: Comedy podcast where two improvisers flash-pitch a sequel that should definitely never be made. Music brief was ‘Old Hollywood, tongue-in-cheek flair, also explains the premise of the show.’
